Follow the link and read all 6 pages of posts.

The owner of the bow only has a couple of posts in all six pages. If you are patient and read through the posts you will get the story.

As for the rest of the thread, just a bunch of people sticking there tongues out at each other.

That brings back memories from a Browning bow I bought years ago, used even.

I shot it quite a few times and then next thing I know...I'm basically like the fellow in that post

trying to figure out just what kicked my butt!!

Long story short...I called Browning and they sent me a brand new bow...didn't want to see the old one (told me to trash it...)

They were very concerned of course that I hadn't been seriously hurt and no law suits or anything.

I has happy as a pig in mud that they sent me a brand new bow

Yikes!! That doesnt look like much fun!
A guy I know with a Mathews (Legacy I think) had his string snap while at full draw this year. It whipped around and caught him in the cheek. Gave him a pretty good welt and by the sounds of it, it was not something he wanted to repeat.

dbltree, I also had a Browning bow limb break, only mine did it twice in consecutive years. One day before the opening of archery season one year, two days before the next. Talk about scaring the crap out of you. Gave me a case of the flinches that I still have to fight thru to this day. They fixed it both times but I gave it away. I just could not depend on it any more. Too bad because I loved the way it shot. Browning, though it fixed it with no questions asked, never contacted me like they did you. Would have maybe changed my mind to not buy another.
