Mechanicals and blazers?

Do you need the mini-blazers to shoot mechanicals? I have the regular blazers and was pleased with my field points. It took quite a bit of doing but I finally got my fixed blades flying good. I tried the wally world cheapos mini broadheads, wasn't pleased with them after shooting a deer. Couldn't get 3bl muzzy 100's to fly consistent. I'm using allen lightnings right now little rest adjustment now field points and blades are flying and grouping good. True test will be a deer. Thinking about jak-hammers or grim reapers. I also hate spending $30 for three heads, so I don't want to try both, lol. I just haven't found somthing that impresses me to stick with. I have always been found of large cutting diameters, so hence the possable change to mech. I'm shooting 60lbs launching easton epic 400 at 29", I'm not against 125 gr but I think the 400's are under spined for them. Thanks in advance for any input.

Okay forget the fact I don't have hundreds to spend on 5 types of broadheads to test em out.
I see on Bohnings website that the have mini blazers for mechanicals but do the regular 2"rs work also.

boacephus,
I have the 2 inch on my arrows with the JakHammers and they shoot great. The mini's would probably be fine but you definately don't need them.
