Does anyone know of a good metal fabricator in the Albia, Ottumwa, Oskaloosa area. I want to elevate some box blinds by building a 8-9 foot tall frame. I thought about a permanent wood platform but the patterns on my farm change yearly due to crop rotation. A portable deal would be better. I could go with wood but dragging it around for a few years would most likely ruin it. Metal would be a stronger alternative. Thanks

Not sure how far of a trip you would want to make. But down here in Burlington we do metal fabrication at our shop. Everything from Ductwork to Coin hoppers for casinos. You can call 319-759-2000. His name is Ryan Coffin. Tell him Calvin gave you the number. Hope this helps.
 
We are about 2 hours west of you and we do some of this at our school I am the welding instructor let me know if we can help. I makwe several ladder stands and portable stands.
