Ok, so it's just a whitetail! But he looked just like one on the hoof!

Well up until this week, the gun seasons have been very trying to say the least. Deer spread out all over and mostly moving at night have left me scratching my head. I have been hunting with a good friend, and with no big deer patterned we were going to go after a few old warriors.

The Midwest Muley has been around for 3 years and just never turned into anything so we went in after him. We got set up around 3:00 and At 4:15 we saw the muley coming over the hill. He looked so awesome in the full sun and wide as heck! He just stuck around a little too long for his own good! :D

Nice work- for a second I thought 2 mulies could have been killed this year! Still a great buck!

It may be a stretch :) but he's got a dark colored melon that kinda looks like it in all the cam pics over the last few weeks.

Maybe it's just his huge ears :D
