On a lighter note, I'm glad someone is killing coons. Them suckers are thick this year. The guys down here that do hunt them just let the dogs tree them find another trail to go after....leaving the coon behind...alive
"Hunting with the use of a spotlight or other artificial light also is illegal unless used by a legally blind person or under the direction of a local deer population control plan."
Innocent until proven guilty.- No kidding! Read the article people; totally one sided and speculative. Zadick is a taxidermist, which could easily explain some of the reported findings.
HUH? I have this stuff in my house. Spotlights, deer hoist, deer mounts, a rack off the buck I shot this year, etc. etc.
Bottom line, people need not assume and point the finger until he is found guilty. We have heard one side of the story, and as we all know, there is always 2 sides.
I'm not taking sides on this, because honestly, I could care less....however, let's not forget that he is innocent until proven guilty.....just because a search warrant was executed at his house does not mean that he is the one who did something illegal.
My taxidermist has had deer racks confiscated from his place of business...not because he was in trouble, but because the person who brought him the mount illegally harvested it.
I agree sureshot. But if you have coon carcesses and beaver hides in your home and no furbearer permit you are illegal. And if you admit to that on the internet it can be traced and and used as evidence.
