Two days ago a very reliable
scource told me a hunter had killed a 31pt. N/T South of Hannibal Mo. The deer was suppose to have been green scored by a
MO state measurer. The buck has a 10pt typical frame at 190"--and sports 100" of abnormal points. The bases are over 8". The
net score should be between 280"and 290". If this is true after 60days of drying, then this would be the New World Record N/T
Bowkill beating out the Del Austin Nebraska buck taken in 1962 that scored 279 7/8". There are a lot of ifs here, so stay tuned."
