new to the site and just scrolling through some older psost and came upon this one, i received a text this november with a photo attached of a dead 12 pointer that very similar to this buck and cant help but wonder if its this buck. i want sure if the photo i received was even real, now after reading this im thinking maybe it is. it said the buck was killed in minnesota bow season this year. any body else hear anything further on this buck?

Probably a mistake to put the story on the internet and then disclose the location...I wouldn't doubt if some late night cruisers were out and about near the rut with something that shoots silent (crossbow, etc...)

If it were in my backyard, twin cities or not, I wouldn't tell the whole world

It sure seems like the word would have gotten out if the buck was shot. I would be willing to bet that this one will die of old age.

I'm actually surprised those sheds didn't score a bit higher. Man that things got a lot of inches of antler.
