MOAntlertips put one in the hurt locker already here is his email...

Two I.W.er's (Trpr and Mo-Antlertips) headed off to hunt the opening of Nebraska's statewide archery season and 'ol Mo got lucky! 2 year old, 19 pounds, 10 inch beard, 3/4 in spurs, shot at 9 steps with a 90 grain Muzzy from the old faithful Mathews. When you hunt from the Double Bull, it's almost not fair!

Congrats on a great bird! I had plans on going out Sunday morning, but things didn't work out. Were you hunting Richardson Co.?

Good job! I saw two big boys strutting last Friday in S.E.Iowa while shed hunting. CAN'T WAIT!!!

The bird only went about ten yards and layed down and died. The other gobbler jumped on top of him and stated to proceed to kick the living daily lights out of him as he layed there dying. Pecking on his head and all. I attempted a ill fated shot at him through the brush and timber but hit a small limb. Nothing to lose but the arrow. I did find it after the shot though missing both of its exspandable blades. Limb, I am not much good for doing anything but trimming limbs it seems these days. Let me know when your headed over this way to hunt NE and I will surely make an effort to stop you and say hello!
