Monster Ohio Buck

Just started seeing pics of this today. Supposedly from Ohio and just over 300". The guy is prostaff for The Break TV and the hunt is on video. Hey maybe the Franz buck issue will go away now that there is a bigger kill on video?? :D I'm sure we'll hear a lot more, but it's a big buck regardless!

Well it's over 200" but not 300" according to a friend

Could be. LOL, who knows anymore. First pic I saw said 286, then the same guy posted another and said a source told him it was either 303 or 305. Time will tell!

Word is gross 303 and 286 net. Again- just the "word". He also has a shed from last year

you can hunt over a corn pile there, I know a lot of guys that kill good ones over corn. With less agriculture and a lot more timber it draws them in

Most of the pics that get passed around on the web are from friends of the hunter who stopped by to see it once it is out of the field. Comments always show up about 'should have taken respectful pics' etc, but I'm sure there were great field photos taken. Great buck!

Must be something in the water in Ohio! This buck was killed by a car- what a waste!

Where did the story of the last buck come from I'm almost 100% sure that's a buck people called the hammer if so his sheds went 214 or something like that last year

Giants there no doubt. Totally different hunting than here in Iowa (for the most part). There is seemingly endless acres of big timber in many areas.

Funny... the wife and I came down to south-east Ohio and southern Iowa as the finalists when we decided to move from Michigan.

I've been a member here a long time and it's funny to see guys I know making a post I didn't start. I went and saw this buck the night it was recovered. I've got the score sheet but IMO it's only a very ruff guess. Many points are off the beam at a slant....they could go typical or abnormals. 60 days will tell but the sheet the guy scoring that night had 300 gross and 186 net.
