More Deer This Year

I'm new on the board and wondered what other opinions on deer numbers this year.Are there alot more deer this year or what? Also,LOVE the pics man!There awesome!!Been bowhunting deer since 83.My recurve is showing alot of wear so,went and bought a new compound.Boy,are they different.

It will be another great year for deer hunting in Iowa. We are truly blessed to be in these days as far as our deer & turkey hunting goes. I remember my father teaching me about bowhunting deer in the 60's and how excited he got after much scouting to be able to show me a DEER TRACK! And if you actually SEEN or harvested a deer it was big news.

Deerman, Sorry to hear about your going to the training wheels.

HEY BW,I remember the first year,I think it was in 74,went out with my bro's just to sit in the tree.After many nites,I saw 1 deer,Well the tail of one Ha Ha.Last year I saw more really nice bucks then the previous 5 yrs.OH! about the wheel bow.the whole town can't believe I went compound.Never really shot next to somebody with one til a mo.ago,the speed impressed me.And the new recurves are over priced in my opinion.I still have a longbow and the old recurve.Thought I could use it to fill the bonus doe tag.It helped me bag a couple of wall hangers.Thanks for the reply.
