Looks like more snow is on the way.....

RAIN WILL DEVELOP BY MID DAY AND CHANGE OVER TO A MIXTURE OF
FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET BY LATE AFTERNOON. A MIXTURE OF FREEZING
RAIN...SLEET...AND SNOW WILL BE SEEN THIS EVENING BEFORE CHANGING
OVER TO ALL SNOW BY MIDNIGHT. SNOWFALL RATES OF AN INCH PER HOUR
WILL BE SEEN BETWEEN MIDNIGHT AND SUNRISE ON WEDNESDAY. WINDS WILL
INCREASE TO 15 TO 25 MPH LATE TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY CAUSING
BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW. TRAVEL IS EXPECTED TO BECOME EXTREMELY
DIFFICULT LATE TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY MORNING.

CONDITIONS APPEAR FAVORABLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THUNDER SNOW
LATE TONIGHT. IF THUNDER SNOW DOES OCCUR...SNOWFALL RATES OF 2 TO
3 INCHES PER HOUR WILL BE POSSIBLE.

CURRENT INFORMATION SUGGESTS THAT THE AXIS OF THE HEAVIEST SNOW
WILL DEVELOP HALFWAY BETWEEN OSKALOOSA AND OTTUMWA IOWA...TO
HALFWAY BETWEEN FREEPORT AND ROCKFORD ILLINOIS. STORM TOTAL
SNOWFALL AMOUNTS ALONG THIS AXIS OF 8 TO 12 INCHES WILL BE
POSSIBLE. THE ADDITION OF ANY THUNDER SNOW WOULD RESULT IN
LOCALIZED AREAS OF OVER 12 INCHES. AMOUNTS RANGING FROM 3 TO 8
INCHES ARE EXPECTED SOUTHEAST OF THE HEAVY SNOW AXIS.

Me and The Schnack are having issues. I think anyone can predict 2-12 inches......... Thats like saying it may be 10 - 45 degrees today with a possibility of some wind. MAybe.

Straight from the Schnack:
Snow will taper off around mid afternoon with a storm total of 2-12". The wind will cause blowing and drifting today as gusts are possible up to 30 mph from the north. The wind will lighten up this evening as temperatures drop down into the teens by tomorrow morning. A few flurries are possible tomorrow.
Have a great day.
Meteorologist Mark Schnackenberg
