My uncle works on a farm up there by Newell. He says that it is not the first time they had seen it. He personally hasnt seen it but knows people that have and they all are pretty honest guys.
You guy want to see Mountain lions, just come up to ND. We are seeing more and more every year. In fact one was just shot yesterday, a 100 pound male in the SE part of the state.
Here is a trail cam pic someone got this year in western ND.
One of my buddies has an uncle in the NE Iowa area and his wife and him had been watching a mountain lion three nights in a row so there is no doubt they are around.

There had been tracks reported in my hunting area a while back. For a while I used to pull cards hoping to see one! Then did a little more reading on them! Now I would be nervous as hell hunting if I did see one! If we are going to start seeing different animals, there are many on my list before Cats!

I'd have to see it to believe. That maybe the one from my area I was told about. A game cam pic was taken and when I saw it I thought it was one of the best pics of a tom cat I ever saw.

There's no reason for them to not starting working their way into our state with our abundant wildlife. They're not hard to recognize...I'm sure some of the sightings have been false but I'm sure there is some truth to some as well.
