Mountain Lion Sighting

Two weeks ago I read in the Avoca, Iowa newpaper that a farmer who lives about 1 1/2 miles west of Avoca spotted one lying on a terrace while out feeding cattle. This is just north of where I deer hunt!!

I also have a friend who went to the Walmart in CB the other day to buy his deer licenses. While there he said the guy behind the counter showed him a picture from a trail camera. The picture was taken in the dark and had a nice buck in it, the cool part was what was in the background about 8 feet behind the buck. It was a Mountain lion crouched down as though he was going to pounce on the deer.

The picture is probably a fake .There is one circulating around just like you described. I think there is a discussion about it on the bowsite.Computers can do neat things with pictures.
