Mountian Lion Spottings?

Has anybody actually seen any cougars? If so, where and do you have any pictures. A farmer has suposedly seen a mother and 3 little ones in Ringgold County just north of Diagonal 4 miles.

We found tracks and a dead deer that was drug about 250 yards and it wasn't done by yotes. In Guthrie County. But we haven't actually seen one.

Can't say I have seen one or sign of one but the farmer who rents our land said he seen a black mountain lion and it came from our timber into his cattle timber and the cows didn't leave the house for 2 weeks! Then the guy who hunted our land before we bought it said he seen one, this was 3 years ago and he is a more reliable source. Can't say I have seen one myself though.

We saw one carrying a piglet over by tingley east of diganol and my cousin in shannon city has seen 3 by his hog confinement. 2 brown and one black. So it's not that far from the pole road.

The pole road goes north out of Diagonal to Creston.
 
It is my understanding that there has never been a black cougar killed or even photographed in the entire history of the United States. There are very rare black leopards in the Southern Hemisphere. This makes me doubt any sighting of a "black" cougar and dismiss it as urban legend. "Black" cougar mania has swept much of the midwest and if there was even 1 percent of the cats around that have been reported there would be photos, video, or a roadkill to confirm. But nothing. I believe there are some ranging cougars from the Dakotas but very few and a black one would be extremely doubtful.
 
Black cougars? Huh? Not sure if you were responding to my post of the sighting or not but there is no mention of a BLACK anything in the article..
 
Their confused, its the blackhawk helicopters that the DNR uses to bring the cougars in with, right Willey.
 
Are you guys talking about near Villisca with the courgar spotings? Thats near Creston right? Well, I havent seen any and really I dont want to see any at all!
 
We spotted one laying in the sun on a pond dam n.e. of Mt.Ayr which is in ringgold county and just east of Diagnol about 5 yrs ago,but lost that farm to a lease after hunting there for 10 yrs.Also use to bird hunt a farm on the pole road.
 
I have a trail cam pic of a Mt lion in Marshall county from Oct 2004. When I try to post it it says the file is too big. If anyone knows how to post it I can email it to you.
