Here is a Button buck I call Mr. T. He has been by the blind a bunch of times this fall. He has a black mane from his shoulders to the base of his neck that is about an inch long. His buttons are covered by red hair, so he is an interesting deer to see.

he is also very agressive and fights with all the other deer around the blind. It will be interesting to see what kind of rack he ends up with in a few years.

This picture was taken from my blind with the lift. I took it about 5 minutes after shooting a doe with my .45. When I shot the doe, he looked around but never ran off.

Very cool deer! Nice photography as always.

I watched a maned yearling on a couple of different occasions this year, same stand. I studied it hard and thought it was a doe. Maybe we should get them togethor?

Hopefully we will both see them next year to see how a year treats them.

Where is his bling?

The coat looks darker from the shoulders back. Is the front lighter from flash washout or is he two toned?

I am guessing the flash brought out the differences in the coats colors. They are there but not as dramatic as this one shows.

On the other pictures I never used the flash, because I didn't want to spook the deer.

I just got done shooting the doe, so I wasnt worried about the flash for this picture.

The first few pictures I took with the flash did make him jump pretty good, but after a bit , it never bothered him.

Sounds like you already have him conditioned so he won't spook with trail camera flash. He is going to be an intresting deer to watch over the next few years.
