Just returned from an adventure hunt for Muskox at Ulukhaktok NWT {4-16-16} located on Victoria Island, before I embarked on a 400 mile journey riding in a komotek sled. I stopped by the school and suprised them with enough school supplies to last over a year, they were very very happy with my gesture, it was worth the price of admission to see all the smiles and happiness. Temps were still a mild -20 degrees below zero on the Beaufort Sea ice. I harvested him with a smokeless muzzleloader I built especially for the hunt. On the way off the Island I escorted a beautiful white huskie back to Yellowknife NWT for Kevin Devoe, a Royal Mounted Canadian Police Captin. It was another awesome experience with great people~
