April 22 i got into the woods at 5:30 in the morning and after a few minutes of setting up the decoys we realized we were surrounded by turkeys, we had literally snuck under there bedsheets. At first light we had jakes all around us gobbling and acting tough but not coming into the decoys finally one crossed the drainage ditch and come within 20 yards but as soon as he gets close he heads the other way at full speed, a few minutes go by and a couple calls later and boom there they are three toms come up out if the ditch and begin to do work on the decoy the rest is history.
