I was watching a doe come down a trail about 7:30 and she was acting a little nervous. I just figured she was winding me. Then I noticed this guy walking down the trail towards her. He stopped and checked a scrap. Where I didn't have a good shooting lane. then he took a couple of steps and was facing me and stood and licked a couple of branches. He turned back to the doe and offered me a quatering away shot at 23 yards and I let him have it. He turned and run and I waited about 45 mins before I started after him. He only ran about 60 -75 yards.
