I am going to pull cards one more time probably a week before season opens- but I have a pretty good idea of deer I will go after and which ones I will absolutely pass. Some of the dates are wrong on my cameras not sure what made them switch to older dates?
First one is Curly- I shot this deer last year- and he hasn't gone far from his normal area. Small area- on camera every day. I reallllllly want to get this deer- hopefully early so he isn't broken up. Come Rut if he is all busted up he will also be getting a pass then
This next guy hasn't gotten rid of his velvet yet, and I am not fully sure which buck is my true #1- curly or this guy- and every picture is about the same.
Next is a buck I passed last year and I think he is mature enough to take this year-
This guy also wont get the pass from me- poor pictures- (cheap camera) but he is always cruising this spot- most pictures are pretty blurry of him
and finally- this 8 pointer makes the list as well- I prob wont really hunt him until late season if I still have a tag left because he pretty much sticks to a small area as well and he would be at the bottom of my hit list. I have other deer larger than this 8 that I am passing this year- but mainly because they have a ton of potential to become something special- this buck has been easy to identify last couple years because he has the notches in his ears that are easy to see from the stand
