If my life could be summed up on one tee shirt it would be this one:

About 8 weeks until pitchers and catchers report. This will be the year!!!!!! For the Cubs to lose 100 games again. Better the Cubs lose 100 than the Cards win 100. Yeah but we all hate the Mets. Is it too soon for baseball posts?
 
I know the cubs wont compete this season but we wont lose 100 - I would think their record will be slightly better this season but still flirting with 90 losses- Only thing im excited for is to see Bryant or any other prospects possibly make it up and also to cheer on who ever is playing the cardinals- GO CUBBIES!!!
 
I'm more excited that Keith Moreland won't he doing the color on radio. He never did get Starlin Castro's name right. it would have been OK if Harry had called him "Starling" but Moreland? Come on man!!!

The Cubs do have some prospects but I'm not sure Theo and crew can get the most out of them. Theo just seems to me making trades and acquiring worn out players without a clear plan in place. Time will tell, but I give Theo two more seasons to produce a play off team them I'm guessin he will be gone. The Cubs are not, will not and should not be the Midwest version of the Red Sox.

If Girardi had dumped the Bronx for the North Side I'd be a lot more positive but that didn't happen.
 
Any BoSox fans out there!! 3 world series in the last 10 years! And even better I moved to a state this year where a lot of people are cards fans!!! Can't wait for baseball!

I know. Sano and Buxton are going to be exciting to watch. I also wanna see what BJ Hermsen can do on the mound. Be pretty sweet to make it up to a game he pitches at considering I played against him multiple times.

I'm actually the opposite- I love what he has done. He has traded for middle tier guys because they are cheap and needs to

CUBS- Completely Useless By September. I don't see that changing...not even with that General Manager of theirs. The curse of the goat lives on!

Very Clever, buck50! My best friend is a cubs fan lol

I, on the other hand, am a Chi Sox fan..

I don't know what happened this year. We need some freakin pitching..
 
As a Cubs fan...not this year but maybe in a few years. I think a unique thing about the Cubs is that they have a lot of talent in the minors. I think that is why the Cards are so good now is because their farm system has been outstanding. Not gunna say the Cubs will win it all in a few years...But they are improving their own farm system quite well. And I think that's the key to having success in the majors is building a team up from the minors.
