Make a groove on your stake (Or I use a wooden dowel) then run a small bolt through the bottom of the stake holder. When you pull on the chord it will rotate up then when you let the tension off it will follow the groove back down. It ain't rocket science...

I am not saying this is how John does it but another way to make it work. :way:
