N.A.P. Bloodrunner Video

Real difficult hunt. Not a good video for the animal rights crowd. Though animal seems somewhat oblivious to bleeding to death?

What a tough animal!!!

Good thing it didn't run, or it would have probably went quite aways!!

I can't believe how long it stayed on its feet while loosing all that blood!!

Crazy!!

Emily is shooting GrizzTricks this year, and I am going to Bow hunt with mechanicals this year. I just bought some N.A.P. Bloodrunners and some N.A.P. Spitfires. Slick Tricks haven't failed me yet, but I want to just go mechanical this year. I ......saved a bunch of $$ buying everything at 20% off at Sportsmans' Warehouse today.

I shot Spitfires for about 3 seasons. Within that time frame, I did kill quite a few deer, but I had 2 occasions where the blades did't open and one of those deer I did not recover. If I were to go back to a mechanical head again, I would probably stay away from the spitfires. Just my opinion. I'm sure it could happen with any mechanical head, but I just thought I would give you my take on them.

180 Class - how did you not know if the blades didn't open - but lost both animals to prove they didn't open. I would be willing to bet you hit em high and forward?

It happens. You know this has occurred when your hole looks like a " V " instead of a "Y". Its usually the shooters fault for not checking the heads before they are shot. The times that this has happened to me the deer ended up just as dead.:D

I guess I can only assume they didn't open on one deer. I hit her a little high, but not forward. The second doe, we did find during shotgun season dead with my arrow still in her. Only one blade on the broadhead was open.
