Just gettin ready to head out the door hear in Nebraska to try to kill a bird its the opener and i took the day off from school so me and a couple buddies will be out hunting all day

I will check back later to let you guys know how i do

Good luck trapper. I was really hoping to get up to Nebraska for the archery opener but things just didn't pan out this year. I hope the gobbling is good for you this morning!

30 yard shot with Magnus Bullheads
 
Here he is. We got in the blind at about 6:30 and watched a couple groups come out into the corn where we were set up but couldnt get a shot at any of them. Then a third group of hens came out and started feeding about 15 to 20 yards from the blind then 2 jakes came over the hill and came out with the hens first shot at 15 yards i shaved the top of his head with the Magnus Bullhead then he moved out to about 30 yards and drilled him in the head!!!

Great bird trapper! I love the colors on those Merriams. I sure wish we had those down in MO. Congrats on a fine kill and even better that it was with the stick and string.
 
Congrats, I seen your post over on NOF and was surprised to see it hear. I never just put 2 and 2 together. Congrats on getting first blood!:way:
 
Thanks guy!! should have had another one tonight but we packed up a little to early and missed out on that opprotunity but going out tomarrow after school so might get a second chance at them
