Ok folks, I'm in need of a favor or two for items I don't have here in central Ne.
I'm building a couple knives for gifts and would like to use osage for the handles. I could really use about 4 pieces of osage about 5"X 1 1/2"X 1/4". If anybody has some pieces laying around it would be appreciated.
Another thing I could use are a couple dozen or so Buckeyes. They don't grow around here either.
Let me know what you have.

Thanks for the responses so far. Thanks to the generosity of some fine members here, I will be getting some buckeyes. Still need some osage though.
 
Osage I have plenty of, green and dried. Its all still standing, but if that will work shoot me a PM. Should have plenty in that size.
 
Jay. Looks like your getting plenty of help. Here's a place you may want to bookmark for future needs. I've been buying some hardwoods from them lately and they seem pretty decent. I have to think of something to make out of zebra wood. That stuff looks cool.

Hey, I'm sure I can round up some scraps of osage if you don't get some first. Let me know where to send it, but it will be mid to late next week before I can do anything and you will have to cut it to your sizes. Proably could send you some mulberry also if you want, it can be a lot prettier than osage. Let me know.
