A coworker just returned from a Canadian trip and gave me some lake trout fillets. Anyone have any good ideas for cooking these up?
 
i could MAYBE SHOW you something, but i doubt i could explain it propperly on here

melt butter and then mix brown sugar with the melted butter while its still hot, then pour over the fillets then bake at 375 till done or on the bbq is also very good its my favorite.....
 
Not sure how big the fillets are, but get out a pyrex baking dish and line the bottom with fillets. Thinly slice a stick of butter scattering the butter patties over the fillets. Salt and pepper to taste (I've also sprinkled an Italian spice mix over the fillets). Take one large lemon, slice it thin (rind and all) and layer over the fillets. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes (depends on thickness of fillets). You might want to reserved a little lemon to squeeze over the fish when served.
