Bad breath is caused by oral bacteria that ferment the sugars in your mouth producing gas (odor) as a byproduct. Trident gum sounds like it would be a great alternative to apple candy (which is loaded with sugar) since Trident contains both Mannitol and Xylitol (sugar alcohols) which inhibit oral bacterial growth, thus reducing bad breath. The two flavors I'd use would be either spearmint or the apple-raspberry, since both are pretty natural flavors, and would likely be a decent cover scent in the deer woods. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif
