Needed: 'Interesting' shed for next painting...

Getting your input was so helpful on the title for the lion piece that I'm going to post another request.

I'm progressing quite well on my turkey painting, current title, Foggy Morning Trio - Wild Turkey. It is a spring morning scene with three gobblers on a wooded ridge. There is an abandoned farm in the background including an old tractor. The sun is just burning off the morning fog. New grass is poking up through last fall's fallen leaves. Mayapple and other spring wild flowers are blooming (think there will be any morels?)

I'd really like to hide a nice shed in the painting but out of all the sheds I've found none really stand out. I'd like something with good mass and lots of character. The kind that makes a whitetailer start to drool. Possibly even a matched set.

If you've got something you wouldn't mind me using please post pictures on this thread.

Once the antler(s) is decided upon I can either work from the actual sheds or photos. If I use photos I may need to have them from various angles and lighting so I can pick what works best. It might take a couple of shoots to get everything just right. Just so you know what you are getting into.

When the painting gets a little farther along I'll try to get something posted here also so you can see what it looks like.

Thanks and good hunting!

Well, I really thought you would have some great ones on here by now. I quess I will show you some pictures of one that has some character. If it is one that you are interested in, you are welcome to it while doing the painting. Sorry about the quality of the pictures. I can get you some more if you would like.

Found these laying together. Number of 11" tines and some squirrel chews to add character....

Re: Needed: 'Interesting' shed for next painting.

Don't know if you'd be interested in a "Nebraska" shed or not

but here's a couple to choose from. No problem loaning them out for any length of time either.

Old Buck, I sent you three photos of that deer as I found him dead. I sent them to your email off your home page. Not sure how to put them on line. If you got the photos let me know. The deer rack itself in the photos went extremely down hill from the year before. I'll email you them tomarro.
