That is one gorgeous bird! I'm in SD and was hunting two weeks ago pretty much along the river and couldn't believe it when we had a Merriam fly down. Just a mile or so from Iowa. Congrats Jay and awesome pic!

Congrats! I sure wish merriams could move on in to Iowa. They have the prettiest fan IMO.
