New COVERT 8.0 & Bushnell 8.0 Cams ??

SO, in what circumstances do you put the plug in the bottom and which circumstances do you leave it out?

for those of you that are having problems with water, put a piece of duct tape around the seal and you wont have that problem anymore. I have a bunch of different brands of cams and I do this to all of them, never had water in any of them, I just don't trust the factory seals on any of the cams. I will say the BTC is a great cam.

Snuck out and checked the new bushnell bone collector camera yesterday. It was only out since wednesday but had some decent pics. I'm really impressed with the quality of the pictures 8mp. I did have about 15 pics in a row that were false triggers. Not sure what was going on it was about 2 oclock in the afternoon. Anyways switched it over to video so we'll see how the new wide screen video turns out.

Just wondering how the 2010 models are working for everyone. I was looking at getting a couple bushnells and was wondering if anyone has been having trouble. I have read some reviews and it sounded like they were having several issues with them.

I bought like 9-10 of these cams from jjohnson, really like em. I had moisture in ONE of these cams. Maybe not as much as you. Right now I'm putting in a bag with Rice to see if it will dry out (just like a wet cell phone). It did still work. I have NO IDEA how the water got in, I'm worried more will now BUT wait and see. Keep us posted on your cam.

*yep, no Cudde's in this house either, got rid of all of mine and I'll never look back - it's like going from a horse & buggy to a Ferrari.
