Hey Everyone,

We just launched our latest episode of Whitetails, Inc. – The Ghost of Johnny Rotten – Part 2. I felt bad for making you all wait to see the conclusion of this so we launched it a little early.

Check it out and let us know what you think.

Great vid's even without a kill. Shows how things don't always go the way you want no matter how hard you work at it(and you obviously worked very hard to get on him).

Always fun to watch...I have to say that I have had more seasons like that than I can count. Good stuff.

Exactly. I do admire how analytical, calculating and flexible Todd is, he really goes the extra mile to work out the puzzle. I think almost all hunters can learn by paying attention to his methods. But even so, things don't always work out with the big boys even when you get them located and figured out, that's hunting though.

A+ for the videos and an A+ for how hard you work but IMO I think you run and gun too much!

Sometimes patience and a NW wind is all you need.

I truly believe that some bucks are truly unkillable by legal harvesting. Even some of the monsters don't show up late season when you leave tons of food for them.

The only reason I was forced to run and gun for this buck was because I wasn't able to obtain permission to hunt the farm until October 11th I think? Hung the first set immediately to try and kill him based on the pic's I had been getting from him. After that the corn came down, so I hung the other "primary" set and waited until late October when I knew I would stand the best chance catching him out in the open durring daylight. The major advantage I had on this piece was that there was a major social network area that this buck would hit EVERY single time he was there. That had a great deal to do with my pre-hunt strategy.

When I knew he was there I didn't have any choice but to get aggressive. He was there right then, and I knew after 2-3 days, he was going to be on an adjacent property cleaning up on the does there (which I couldn't hunt).

Next year I'll have the property set-up LONG time in-advance of the season with some good shooting lanes cleared 3 months before the season. Truly though, the missing link in this buck is the other 2 farms I know he lives on. I should be able to hunt on those this year, and that is the missing link. I'll be bouncing around with him instead of being forced to put all my time on one small farm for him.

Thanks for the feedback guys, this is the stuff I love!

Do you know if the buck survived through all of the seasons?
