gander mountain, scheels, sportsmans' whse, bass pro, cabela's, are NOT pro shops. they have archery "departments", where you may, or may not get service from someone who actually knows what they are doing.
buckhollow, CIA, archery field and sport, are shops where the main focus is archery. everyone you see working in the shop is knowledgable about bows and archery equipment.
sounds like doubleA is pretty close by. i don't know your area, i have no idea what else is out there for shops. if i were you i would head over there with your bow, release, and a fistfull of your best arrows, look over and discuss some rests, shoot a few arrows from it, and go from there. if you try one and don't care for it, its just 2 bolts to take off and try another. you will leave the shop confident and ready to shoot
