New tank sprayer and pump...help

I am picking up a new 3 point sprayer for my tractor.The tank can be had at tractor supply.
it is run by a roller pump??? it looks to me that it hooks to the PTO and is driven off of that?
any help from someone that has done this?

They also make a 12v pump for that type of application. Depending on you electrical system.

I have one almost identical to that. I think it is a scorpion brand, but is a 50 gal with a roller pump. Works great. Slide the pump on the PTO and tie or chain it off to something and you are ready to go. Mine has a 10' boom and a hand sprayer. I rigged a single nozzle in the middle of the boom that I use to spray down the middle of tree rows.

I bought that exact one in 55 gal. Absolutely love it. You're correct on te roller pump, and they have it at Tractor Supply. Very easy to put together and set up. I know they say 40 feet but that's a bit of a stretch I've found for good coverage.

Like HIGHJUMPER said, make sure you take a chain and make sure that the pump is secure before you engage the PTO. If you dont the pump will just spin and you will have one HELL of a mess and be one unhappy person.
