New world record shot in Iowa over shotgun one

I'm talking about the buck that started this thread that was taken this week during the 1st shotgun season. The Timberghost buck is old news.

Someone sent me this photo of one of the bucks in back of the truck. If it is from a high fenced area It's a pitty a buck like that couldn't be free roaming & really make a hunter proud but...

I have pretty good feeling he wouldn't have been near that big if he was free roaming. And you don't think that the "hunter" in that picture is proud? Maybe he is, but his wallet hurts. hah

High fence or not that is flat out massive.I don't think he has a wallet left and Probably alot less hide from his woman too.

If you look closely that is the same buck as the one in the back of the red truck earlier in this post. It's from timberghost ranch- high fence. I got the same email too and immediately recognized it. And like you said, it's a pitty but chances are he wouldn't have got that big free ranging- but I guess you never know.
