We are hearing a guy from Ohio has killed a 291 NT and it's looking like a New World Record.

More later!

what ever happened to the nontyp from missouri that was supposed to be about the same size?

We don't know anymore than we did on the Missouri buck and a link was attached.

The Ohio buck was harvested by Mike Beaty and the buck has similar features to the Hole-In-The Horn buck.

The biggest rumor floating around is there has been an Iowa buck that could top them all, 300 inches, NT. We are waiting to hear from our sources to confirm this story.

All in all, it's been a heck of a archery/early muzzleloader season in the Midwest, will be back with more.

We are hearing the Ohio buck was shot with a 85% LetOff Bow, it could make it tough for the guy and the Pope and Young Club, but still qualify for Boone and Crockett.

The Missouri Typical buck is a great buck but not as advertised, here are the numbers...

The numbers are:6x6 Gross typical 212 5/8, Net typical 209 2/8 with 27 4/8" of nontypical.= 236 6/8

Still in an elite group,

Sounds like one heck of a deer! But, is he a typical or a non-typical? Looks like he will go B&C either way. If I'm doing my math right, he is either a 181 6/8 typical or a 236 6/8 non-typical. Great buck no matter how you look at it.

any new news about the 300 inch in iowa?
