Newbie - Please Recommend a Planter

Hi Gang, I've never used a planter but am considering picking one up. Primarily for beans or corn. Saw this on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/share/1LWfcPmQXY/

I wouldn't be planting more than a few acres. Would appreciate ya'lls thoughts & recommendations on something to look for. I don't mind something requiring handy-work but want to make sure parts are readily available. Thanks.

If your doing beans and corn get some version of the John deer 7000. That drill wont do much of a job on corn and you will need a cultipacker or roller after if your doing beans.

PH outdoors G 5 no till drill. Does beans and corn great. For some reason they removed the small seed box. If you do brassicas or clover a carrier is needed which isn’t a big deal.

Ive seeded hundreds of acres of small seed with that drill. One seed box. No carriers. Clover, alfalfa, brassicas, switchgrass. All the way down to 5#/a.
