Nikon-Burris-Leupold???

I want to put a new scope on my .223 coyote gun and wondered what everyone else was using. Any big differences between brands? Thanks in advance.

Leupold long range duplex varmint. If you shoot long range regularly, the Nikon bullet drop compensator looks like the TICKET although I haven't forked out the cash to try one yet. And if you're on a budget, I've heard good things about the Tasco Varmint scope. I have a World Class that pound for pound is a great scope and is way less $$. The optics aren't quite as good but you almost have to be a scope afficianado to tell the difference under most shooting conditions.

Sightron has been getting favorable reviews from some of the high performance muzzleloading crowd. If they can withstand the recoil of launching a 300 grain slug in excess of 2,500 fps, they ought to withstand the recoil of a .223.

The Bushnell Elite 4200 and it's little brother the 3200 get favorable reviews as well.

I own Nikon, Leupold and Redfield scopes (though the Leupold and Redfield are approaching 20 years old) and haven't had a problem with any of them.

I love Leupold/Nikons as well.

I have a Burris Fullfield II on my muzzleloader, it has been a great scope thus far.

Leupolds always have great glass on them so you can't go wrong with those. I put a Bushnell Elite 3200 on my tikka .243 and it is a great scope as well.

All my glass is Nikon. Scopes, binos, spotting scope. best bang for the buck, hands down.

I have a Burris Fullfield II on my AR and it has put up with my abuse just great. Great scope for the price. I don't spend big $ on optics the way I treat them.
