Youngbuck,
I now use a Nikon D50.
The scenery pictures are with my 50 1.4 lens and the Eagle is with my 300 2.8 lens.

That Eagle is Phenomenal!!!!
And just think the turkey was going to be our national bird and not the Eagle.

Jack, your photos are always stunning!!

Today, there was a bald eagle in the tree my ladder stand leans on. I thought it would have been cool to capture that image.

Then, the windmill reminded me of last week. There is a spring that keeps the rudder perpendicular to the fan. Last week I climbed our windmill to reattach this spring, as occasionally it wears through. Looks like somebody needs to do a little TLC on that windmill, maybe a little more than reattaching the spring.

Jack, do you ever make prints and entered them in contest at fairs and whatnot?
What kind of printer do you use?

sweet pix, its not always about the killing....

There is something special about sitting and admiring a stream in the middle of the woods! Something that cannot be said, but seen. Those are beautiful pictures that bring good memories to mind. When I was in Iowa last year with a friend, we had seen so many eagles, I couldn't believe we were in Iowa! It was awesome! The sky in your windmill photo is gorgeous!!! Thank you for sharing JLC!!
