Can a non resident hunt either gun season or are they restricted to one or the other?

Poor wording on my part, I meant can non residents hunt either gun 1 or gun 2 or are they all restricted to gun 2.

I believe they they can apply for one or the other, but can’t cite “chapter and verse” on that.

Either or, or late ML is an option for them too. Early ML is not.

I have no idea how they split up late muzzy or shotgun tags but it looks possible. I grabbed this photo from another thread so disregard the highlighted portions

Does anyone know how they split it from Shotgun 1/2 and Muzzy, I have never heard how they break it down

The fact that they don't specify anywhere in the online application information would make me think they throw them all in a hat and draw... A call to the DNR might get a more concise (and accurate) answer.

If the applications are more for a certain zone, than what the Quota is, then they will do a drawing. Other wise you will receive a tag for that zone and season that you applied for.
