norway spruce yellow

i planted some norway spruce seedlings from MDC this spring and they are really yellow now are they lacking something? soil type is both wet lower area and some hill top all seem the same cedars and pin oaks next to them doing well thanks

Probably just shedding needles. Pines are doing it now also.

I have one in my back yard too that just started to yellow up a few days ago. It is an otherwise healthy tree and probably about 7-8 years old now, so not a new planting. I too think it is just a normal "leaf drop".

Mine really yellowed up a few days ago and this wind just cleaned house. Now there's a bazillion pi e needles all over the front yard
