Guess ya never know. My last few trips up it sucked due to weather. This trip (11/8 thru 11/15) weather co-operated and we saw more action than the last 3 trips. But....seems like the action we saw was on par for some of you other guys. Small bucks cruising all the time. Large bucks seen around 8-9 am and 4pm to dark. Nearly all large bucks seen were sticking close to does or chasing them into the next county. My brother-in-law took a nice, wide 9 pt. less than 1 hr. into our hunt. My best bud passed on a nice 8 less than 1 hr. into the hunt because he was running does with a bigger one. He never got another opportunity. Once again my luck proves true. No shots. One really big buck I watched chase a doe all morning in a field, got down to try to move in on him, almost got run over by him & her and then watched them later that evening pass by at about 30 yds./20 MPH. Second big buck at 65 yds slowly following 2 does and couldn't be coaxed over to save my life. All other big uns were kicked up midday while bedded tight with does.
