Watch the video first.Let me think for a sec..... This is NFL live. Darren woodson says bretts probably playing for 20 years since he was 7 or 8. Guess brett lost 11 or 12 years off his age since he retired. If I remember right brett was born in 69 or something like that. Isnt brett 39?

Seen last night that ESPN is reporting that Farve contacted the Packers head coach and is wanting to come out of retirement. Who didn't see this coming.

its only a rumor, because coach told him to keep his old ass at home. "its time to let the new kid choke for awhile, bart"

lol

Not a Packer Backer or hater, but I think they should do something as to not allow him to play again anywhere, until after his contract is through. IMO, it isn't being very fair to your temates to turn away then come back again. If he wasn't sure he shouldn't have retired, he should have let them know there is a chance he would retire to allow them to prepare, and taken the off season to think about it. To much drama IMO. He isn't the center of the NFL anymore because they aren't a powerhouse as years before, almost seems like this is being done for attention.

i would guess that green bay heavily "influenced" bret to retire. media crap storm in green bay, if they released him outright, but they have alot of money sitting on the bench, waiting his shot. green bay wanted the best of both worlds, to retire their superstar, and build for the future, and not piss off the fans in the process. i found it hard to believe that he wanted to retire after the season he had last year

Favre, in a Vikings jersey (I can only hope). I can see it now. My vikings are superbowl bound! Come on Favre, we need a quarterback! With number 4 at the wheel, and a running game and defense like we've got, we'd be unstoppable! We'll have to wait and see!

tampa bay, so he can slap the pack around a couple times a year

Football is very similar to deer hunting. In August you have pre season practice/scouting. Transitioning into September you have the beginning of the NFL season and in the hunting world you have the opener of Squirrel season and the opener of Whitetail season in other states besides Iowa. Following that you have the regular season and then the playoffs. Which equal out to be the bow/shotgun/muzzy seasons followed by a crucial late season bow and muzzy season/superbowl. Then after that there is shed antler/new player hunting. Which leads up to June/July which is where we are now. It's just a "talking" period where we B.S. about how good our team/ hunting is going to be because we signed "such and such" or got pictures of a mega huge buck. In reality it's all just talk to get the majority of the crowd fired up and excited for the upcoming season.

"Favre retired but wants to come back to a different team because the Packassers have moved on. But let's face it, you need to forget the forgotten hype because he is washed up and worthless to anyone who allows him to play"

-or-

I got a pic of a waaay old buck that needs to be culled. However I have pics of this buck from waaay back when he was in his prime and I never got a chance at him. Therefore I don't want anything to do with him so I hope he wanders on to the neighbors farm and gets shot/ signed to play QB.

Make sense???

Probably not. BUT, it does when you have over a half bottle of 7 in your system.

That's the last thing we need. If he did don the purple and gold and take us all the way we'd never hear the end of it!!!

He is just like Micheal Jordan. He wanted his media attention. When Jordan retired the first time it was a huge deal. but the second time nobody really cared. The very little respect I once had for Favre is gone. Maybe he should take up tennis!
