Off topic, maybe controversial but a lot of fun & excitement!!!!

I’d share a meal with him. Lots of experience there. Would you share a meal with General George Patton? He was brash, tough, intelligent, unforgiving and experienced. He was not favorably lauded by our own. But man did he get results. So does Trump.

For our young bucks Patton is considered to be one of our greatest generals. He was tank commander during WW I and WW II. Not to be disrespectful but I have zero confidence in our public education system. Lol

If GGP spoke and acted like Trump, (I've never heard any audio), I wouldn't care to share a meal, no. Doesn't mean I wouldn't recognize and appreciate his accomplishments. Just that I couldn't stomach his personality. Nothing wrong with that. I'm sure some people think the same of me.
 
Patton did act like Trump. Maybe worse. Openly despised Russia and wanted to invade . He didn’t trust them. They were an ally !!! He was proven correct 20 years later. Trump is a leader who puts the US first. You want a figure head vote for Biden

REGARDLESS of trump winning or losing... IMHO- in future, I think we’ll be facing a critical need for term limits. If the establishment & deep state of both sides continues to dominate - 3rd party will come to fruition & probably some merit that it finally happens. Worst case scenario I see happening - the difference between Liberals & Conservatives just continues to widen.... turning to violence. Couldn’t be two farther different views of this country and what we want.... IMO - a civil war is possible. Maybe it’s peaceful civil war- like succession. Could see CA, NY, OR, NJ, etc breaking off. I know this is a ways out and I realize this sounds whacko BUT - I think we are getting closer to that path.


On other topic... we need & needed a General Patton in Whitehouse. I’d have a meal with him but that’s never going to happen or even matters. We are a nation with a good % of sissies, girly men & spoiled brats - not going to mesh well with tough men like Trump. We need results as we are a nation with massive problems that could sink us. RESULTS over “feelings”.

Bring on a Civil War! It's time to clear up this mess that's gotten out of control. Conservatives have WAY MORE guns and ammo. Plus, we tend to be 'Driven', have a harder work ethic, are more disiplined, organized, and can follow orders and chain of command better. And, Conservatives tend to be Christians and Constitutionalists. I'm amongst good company and am ready to fight back. I believe there are more of us than the Lefties are barganing for. I'd rather take the chance and go down fighting than slowly watch our country fall deeper into chaos and ungodliness.
 
All it takes is 15 minutes on social media to find plenty of videos of a group of usually about 5 of the poorest representation of the male sex dressed in pink tank top and painted on jeans hitting boards with 13oz claw hammers touting that they are ready for a civil war. Those clowns couldn't hang with a 17 year old, they are gonna be in a bad spot when things go south.

80% are moderates??? I doubt that number. As stated if you’re for burning, looting, destroying, and doing nothing about it vote Democrat.

Listen, the greatest generation, claimed to be WII era adults, are considered to be because everyone sacrificed for what this nation was built on; which is freedom and opportunity, not handouts. They fought for the big picture not themselves.

The socialistic left wing Dems fight for how they “feel” at the moment. We are a formidable nation because we fight for our lifestyle which is being taken away.

Today, the left is breaking down the institutions that frame that lifestyle which are morals, values, capitalism, opportunity and security cemented in the family unit, Christianity, the free market place, and respect for authority and rules (law enforcement). Plato said in Plato’s Republic that once you lose the ability to defend yourselves your society is over.

The left also controls the message centers ie education and the media. We are one News station away from state run media. This is a 100 year plan unfolding before your eyes.

Anytime the left tugs your heart strings with some social issue (police brutality) or a health issue to protect you (covid) look beneath the surface. There is a much larger agenda in play. At present it’s to transform our country into a socialistic handout welfare state controlled by extreme left wing democrats. Vote Trump!!

I've been on board with this thread most the way, but calling for civil war? Not only the killing of people you disagree with, but the certain death of millions on your side as well?
Don't let yourself be convinced to dehumanize half the country simply because of the actions of a few. We Have a lot more in common than we think.
A civil war would be the saddest thing this country has seen in over 150 years. Please spend some serious time studying the last civil war before calling for another one.

Polarization like that from both sides is what's killing this country. I'm a conservative as well, but I'm more than willing to shake hands and have a conversation with anyone who's acting civilly. We all have far more in common than we think.

Social media is the#1 reason for the current polarization. The best thing you could do is dump 99% of it. (Not Iowa whitetail of course) twitter, facebook, and most others belong in the garbage.
The algorithms quickly find out what you like to see and that's all they show you . No matter what side you are on, everything you see will lead you to believe that you are right and the other side is evil. Any reasonable person would come to that same conclusion based on what's coming across your feed. What most people don't understand is that they are only seeing the absolute worst of the other side and the best of their own. It reminds me of this george bush quote "Too often, we judge other groups by their worst examples - while judging ourselves by our best intentions. And this has strained our bonds of understanding and common purpose."
There is no question that most our legacy media is made up of biased liberals with an agenda who won't report a single good thing this administration has done. But trusting your social media feed for unbiased reporting isn't any better. I wish I had the answer but all I can offer at this time is what the problem is.

Agree completely. I dont have Facebook or Twitter. Instagram mainly for family and hunting but do have some people who share some political stuff. I try to keep as much of the radical views out of my life as possible.

On our current trajectory, a Civil War is inevitable, and it's being ushered in by the radical Liberals, Progressives, Socialists, Left-Wingrs, etc. pick a title. I recognize it. Many others do too. They are attacking the underlying fundamentals and principles that our country was founded on and operates under. Conservatives have passively tolerated the increased degradation of our country over decades, but now, we've reached a culmination. If we continue to stand by in silence, our very way of life will be steamrolled, never to be regained, because if we didn't fight to keep it, we sure as hell won't fight to regain it. I don't want Civil War, but because I recognize it as being inevitable, and I'm not one to go down without a fight, I say let's roll now before the radical Liberals gain even more control.

As for those moderates, in the middle, who just want to keep on living without picking a side, WAKE UP and pay attention. You are living in a pocket that has been built by Conservatives that came before you and protected by Conservatives today. Radical Liberals don't give a damn about you. Infact, they despise you and believe you didn't earn your stuff, and that it actually belongs to them. If you think you can keep your heads buried in the sand and go on about your business uninterrupted when the shit really hits the fan, you're delusional. Stand up for something.

Ring that bell and let's all do our part to help restore law and order in our country. Promote home owners to protect their properties and families with legally owned firearms. Promote shop owners to protect their properties and investments with legally owned firearms. Provide more funding to the police. Penalize the MSM for biased reporting. Penalize social media for discriminatory practices. Outlaw the murder of innocent babies in their mothers wombs. Etc. Etc.

Before a violent civil war ever took place- I think most all would wish for peaceful solution. It could be some states succeeding. CA got the signatures to succeed after the 2016 election. It’s possible - not desired.

when part of the country hates this country. When part of the country wants no police. When part this country will spend us into bankruptcy. Schools that indoctrinate our youth to hate this country & tell them our biggest problem is stuff like white supremacism- crazy. We see the mobs, the violence, the riots & massive groups that hate this country. We just have some major troubles & thats tip of the ice burg. Peaceful resolution is absolutely the best path. Hope and pray trump wins. We need BIG solutions & action to real problems..... hurt feelings mean nothing in our history & future issues we face.

States attempting to succeed, in order to continue with their corrupt and immoral practices, is why we had our last Civil War. Better stock up and prepare, because it's coming, and probably sooner than later.
