I'm really curious to see how this new reporting system works.

I gotta believe that the wait time on that 800 number is going to be big.

I'll be using the net...but worry that an influx tomorrow might bring that site to its knees.

I agree. We have had no luck with the phone system yet. But the net was working good. It will be fun to see if it can handle the load.

In Missouri we went to a "telecheck" system a couple of years back, and for the most part, it has been a success.

Yes, there were a few wrinkles that needed to be ironed out, but for the most part, it's a great system. In fact, providing you have cell phone coverage in the area that you hunt, you can call in and get your "confirmation number" which you write on the transportation tag.

I'm sure Iowa's won't be that much different. Most likely just follow the prompts on the phone and presto, you're done.

I've had no problems with the phone . But I bet it will be a different story when everbody else is trying to register their deer .

the reporting system is pretty easy and only takes a couple minutes.
the have it set up so that the phone lines shouldnt get tied up....
i guess we will see if that really works
