Oh no....He's back

I talked to a friend here on the website and we are planning on taking out his cousin youth season to see if he can get a chance at taking this guy out of the herd.

I have been thinking about a nickname for this buck and i've came up with two;
1. 'The Mistake'
2. THA4 :grin:

I'm thinking THA4 fits him the best! :drink1:

Couple ?'s

Have you seen this deer on hoof while hunting?

If not, has he shown up on your cams during hunting season?

If both answers are no, I honestly wouldn't worry about him. He's probably miles away spreading his crap genes on somebody else's farm.

If both answers are yes, I'll kill him :) I kinda like the lil guy. Nice big 6, very unique. But seriously, if both answers are yes, I'd sure try hard to get him killed on somebody ele's tag! Good luck with it...

I think too that if both answers are no, he's still likely in the area during youth season on his summer pattern and that's probably your best shot at him if you want him gone, imo. Get some little runt out there with a smokepole and a camera in your hand.

Lots of different responses.....which is kind of rare for the site as of late, thanks for starting the topic.

Cool looking old buck for sure. As for the original ?, if it were me, he'd keep walking. I'm like a couple other guys who aren't willing to wrap their one and only tag around him. I wouldn't object to trying to have someone else whack him if given the chance,..but in terms of genetics and herd health, he could be far better than a buck a couple miles in any direction that just may be sidling into the area during the rut and sewing his wild oats...you never know.
