Oh the rut

Which days in November do you guys and gals take off to chase the elusive whitetail. Im thinking the 10th through the 14th.

Anytime between Oct 25th - Nov 30th are going to be good.

The 10th to the 14th should be good. Full moon is on the 13th. I know of 4 wall hangers shot between the 16th and 18th. I shot one last year on the 16th my buddy shot his on the 17th excatly 24 hours later and 300 yards from where I shot mine. My brother shot 2 on the 18th not in the same year. But it's still a crap shoot you never really know.

I always see big bucks moving in late November in my neck of the woods. Right now I've got the 8th-11th and the 26th-30th.

QUESTION- when is the rut supposed to be this year from predictions like Alsheimer, etc. Last year it was supposed to be EARLY and i think it was. Is this year supposed to be "earlier" or "later" this year from the moon phases?

Yes, I usually hunt around the same time each year, Nov 1-15 BUT I do notice some years are earlier or later ruts than others. Thoughts?

I take the entire month of November off and don't go back to work until the day after Christmas!

It's not exactly the Farmers Almanac, but Outdoor Life says Nov 15-30 for the rut this year in Iowa.
