Opening day.

I'm planning to be out in the morning. I normally don't try to hunt much in early october just to keep stuff fresh for November. However this year will be different since my wife is due the beginning of November. So I gotta make it happen early!
 
If the weather is decently cool I'll sit on opening day evening at one of my proven doe spots. I've never been able to get a pattern on any mature buck ever past the 3rd week of September during daylight so I'll usually sit once during the 1st week of season to get a doe in the freezer, then let it go until the 28th or so.
