Opening Weekend Weather.

Im sure that no one is actually looking ahead to the upcoming weekend

j/k....anyway i was checkin up on the predicted forecast and for opening weekend here in Iowa...it is not looking too bad....saturday has a low of 52 and a high of 74.....74 is pretty warm...but its not too terrible for opening weekend....so how many of you are going to take the stand if this is what the temp will be on saturday? I know i will be.

I'm too excited to sit home and plan to hunt next weekend regardless of the weather. I picked up an archery Johnson County antlerless only tag today. I figure I'll try to fill it. It's going to be tough, but I'm hoping to stay out of my best areas the first month.

It may be warm,opening weekend, but it will also be dry, down in Ottumwa area, where my land is. This weekend North of I-80 across IA got up to 4 inches of rain, southeast still zilch. My clover won't even green up.
