This new guy showed up for these 2 photos and only those so far ( August 8, 9:35 am and 8:30 pm)- thought about tossing it a different post but would like some thoughts on what he scores.
My Father in Law is SUPER giddy on him but in my mind he’s not “that” big???? Or am I crazy
I need to go through some pictures from last year to see if he’s actually new or just blew up.

160 something. Big g2's. A lot of people would be very happy with tths one. Maybe me too. Just depends on your area and goals.

Oh yes- would be SUPER happy don’t get me wrong. Father in Law just acts like it’s a 190+ and I didn’t see it

Ya, add 'em up.
4, 11, 9.5, 5, 25, 18
X2 = 145
Plus 19 inch spread = 164

Change the numbers however you like, he might squeeze out 170. Impressive deer but he's kinda young looking ... I'd be inclined to try to get him to make it another year or two.

I hear what you're saying but that deer or anyone close to him is getting an arrow flung at him if he comes by me. I have let I don't know how many 140-150's pass only to never see them again.

If they have 600acres all to themselves and feel like this deer lives in the middle, then maybe. Not where I hunt though.

Good luck, I hope we see what he looks like in your hands.

yeah this is a 30 acre ridge on a several mile ridge. Most of us pass young deer- but not everyone has restraint but it’s part of it. I have restraint- my father in law does not at all

60’s somewhere. Maybe hits 70’s. Dang nice buck. Super impressive !!!!!
