Owls

I sounds like a "migration" of owls out side my window every morning at day light! Is it just me or is there more owls then ever? I used to use an owl call for early morning locating but heck I wouldn't be able to get a "hoot in edgewise" now! I stood outside at day break and it was just a barrage of owls carrying on. I heard a few gobblers but I don't think they were paying any attention to the owls.
We start hunting tomorrow morning....I sure won't be using an owl call

I have seen alot of owls recently also. In fact I was on the river Saturday afternoon trying to get some catfish to fry up with my turkey breast and I heard a hooter sound off. I gave a mouth hoot back and before I knew it he was sitting within 30 yards of our boat looking at us. I think I really messed with him because he stuck around for quite a while. Beautifull birds.
