On my way to work this morning went by one of my turkey hunting spots to see if I could spot a few toms doing there dance and much to my suprise there was a 120" 8 pointer standing there sporting a full crown still. I have seen some late ones but never in April, thought I would give hope to those still shed hunting

Kind of hard to believe... I guess they are individuals just like humans.

The ones still hanging on to their racks must have plenty of good food to eat, fairly mild winter conditions, and didn't participate in the rut.

Too many bucks have been watching "Brokeback Mountain."

I would anticipate there being a lot of nice bucks that made it through the winter, which should make things interesting next fall.

I had a small basket rack at my feeder tues eve. This might explain my poor luck at shed hunt'n this year or at least thats my excuse

Yesterday night, I had a 140 incher and a 6 pointer walk by both still packing. I still can't believe it. Last week the neighbor spotted a big 12 and 10 both still packing. Maybe some of us will find some fresh sheds while turkey hunting
